Produced from the heart of the corn kernel, our old-fashioned stone ground grits are sure to spoon feed themselves into your heart. Coarse ground, our grits take a bit longer to prepare but the velvety richness is sure to be worth the extra time.

Stove-top Directions:

In a heavy saucepan, slowly stir 1 cup grits and 1 teaspoon salt into 4 cups of boiling water. Reduce heat to low, cover. Cook 30 to 40 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally. (For thinner grits add more water. For thicker, creamier grits cook longer.) Serve hot with butter, margarine, or gravy.

Crock Pot Grits:

Ingredients Needed:

3 Cups Warm Water

1 Cup Milk

1 Cup Half & Half

1 Cup Stone Ground Grits

2 Tsp Salt

Freshly Ground Black Pepper (to taste)

1/4 Cup Soft Butter

8 Oz. Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Directions: Combine above ingredients in slow cooker and cook on low until grits are thick and creamy (6-8 hours). Stir to combine after first hour. For a crowd, this recipe may be double or tripled.

Optional: Add cooked, chopped country ham bits.

Delivery Schedule

All orders placed online are shipped out on the soonest available shipping day. If we receive your order prior to 2 PM (EST), Monday through Thursday, we will ship your order via UPS or FedEx Ground/Home Delivery on the same day. Otherwise, we will ship your order on the following Monday.

Delivery Methods

All orders are shipped via UPS or FedEx Ground/Home Delivery. All P.O. Box addresses are shipped via USPS, though we encourage customers to use physical delivery addresses whenever possible due to the extended transit time when shipping to P.O. Boxes. Since most of our gifts include vacuum-packed meats and pecans, we will not ship a gift during the warmer months if it will not arrive within the same week that the order was placed. For example, if an order is placed on a Thursday (after 2 PM EST) and it takes two or more business days to arrive, we may hold the order and ship it on the following Monday to allow the gift to remain in constant transit. This will ensure the gift does not sit in carrier warehouses over the weekend and that you or your recipient receive the best quality product. Our country-style products do not require refrigeration while in transit, but should be refrigerated upon arrival. All of our standard gift boxes have shipping and handling included for any address within the Continental United States.
